RECRUITMENT

We believe joining Acacia is the best decision that an undergraduate can make. If you are interested in joining, we encourage you to find out more and rush Acacia.

We will always have room for more quality men to join our chapter. We don't restrict recruitment to a specific time of the year and instead accept new members year-round. This allows us to accept the very best new members in order to make our fraternity stronger.

Acacia is very competitive in comparison to other fraternities in the area. Our chapter has one of the highest GPAs, largest alumni networks, a strong social scene, the lowest dues of fraternities with a housing structure, leadership opportunities, and one of the highest retention rates of all chapters. In addition, our housing structure has been updated and the vast majority of the rooms are singles, rather than double or quads like most chapters. The rent for living in the house is also $400 less than the Iowa City average, ensuring all members are able to get the live-in experience. The connections made within the brotherhood do not just last during your college years but are bonds that last for decades.
